In this episode, I give a little bit of background on the Myers-Briggs personality system to start the show. I, then, spend the majority of the episode explaining four major categories that make up every Myers-Briggs personality:
- How a person gets energy
- How she collects and processes information
- How she makes decisions
- How she approaches/orders her world
Afterward, I delve into the preferences for each of those categories.
- How a person gets energy
- Extroversion
- Introversion
- How she collects and processes information
- Sensing
- Intuition
- How she makes decisions
- Thinking
- Feeling
- How she approaches/orders her world
- Judging
- Perceiving
Every category has two options, and every person, according to the Myers-Briggs personality system, prefers one more than the other. (For example, in terms of where a person gets his energy, he’ll either be an extrovert or an introvert.)
To explain the different preferences, I compare and contrast the preferences in each category and illustrate them with real-life stories.
